In many ways, it already has. It has caused the most serious…life on Earth! And it keeps us alive today. It has also affected technology in the past, making the telegraph system unusable for a few days during the 19th century. If the conditions were just right, the sun could bring down an electricity grid of an entire country. It could also bring down a telephone network. As solar physicist, we working on trying to predict when that might happen and prevent it happening!
