      Heya,

if I could invent anything at all I would invent a time machine. It would be great to look into the future would help make the best choices about the planet and human kind.
It would also give us the ability to correct past errors!
I guess given that I haven’t been visited by my future self, I have not been successful in inventing that time machine. Otherwise I would have been told by future-me, time travelling to present to tell me.

Based off my own work and the related work of other labs I’m connected to, I would love to invent a yoghurt that helped relieve depression. It’s a horrible illness to have, and studies are starting to show that the bacteria living in our gut have something to do with it. If we can figure out how bacteria affect depression, we can develop ways to reduce or stop them adding to the problem, which would be amazing.

Failing that, a suit of powered armour like Iron Man’s. That would be *sweet*.
