Question: @Lydia do you think its cruel to kill animals for food?

Hey,

I am a vegetarian, so I personally don’t eat meat because I am never sure where the food came from and if the animals suffered. If I knew they had freedom to run around on a farm before they were killed and had a good life, then I would maybe eat meat.
People have been eating meat for thousands of years, its part of what we do as humans. I think if the animals are treated with respect before being killed then its not a cruel thing as such. But I don’t like the idea of battery chickens or pigs that have never seen sunlight in their life. That I think is cruel.
