      Hi!

No I don’t think so! Sure, you need to do some biology, chemistry or maths, but I would say its all about being passionate about it and wanting to be a scientist!
Sometimes things are difficult when an experiment doesn’t work or when its a very long day of work in the lab or outside in the field. But its all worth it in the end, when you get to answer the questions you asked!

I’d say it’s no tougher than most other jobs. If you were an accountant you’d be doing waaaay more difficult maths than I do most of the time. I’m glad I’m not an accountant…

Science is seen as a difficult subject, so people can be afraid of it and stay away from it, and then tell all their friends it’s hard without even trying it, so it gets a bad reputation. But it’s fine, really.
