• Question: How often do you search through poop??

      Right now it’s about once a month. Poop samples come in, and I try to get them all done in a day. From then on I’m handling bacteria that came out of poop, but not the actual poop. We keep that in the freezer in case something goes wrong and we need more poop bacteria 🙂

      I’ll be searching through poop more often in the next year though. We have a deal with Crumlin Childrens’ Hospital where they’ll send me samples over time, so pretty soon I’ll probably have a sample or three to work on every week.
