      Hello,

      do you mean the oil you have to checking and keep filling up?
      First, oil greases the moving parts inside the engine allowing them to move without smoothly. Oil also prevents corrosion because it forms a protective layer excluding water. Similarly, oil within the motor filters moves any dirt and particles to the oil filter which could clog up and damage the motor on long term.
      Hence: got to check your oil regularly!
