I haven’t gotten sick from any of the nasty things I’ve worked with, if that’s what you mean. There are strict safety rules when working with bacteria and poop, and if I got sick from one of those it would mean I hadn’t been doing my job properly, so not getting sick so far is a good sign 🙂

Last time I got sick that was anything to do with work was actually just bad luck. Back in July I flew over to the UK for a training course, and seeing as I have a brother living in London, I stayed on an extra week to hang out with him and see the sights (we pretended we were journalists one day to get into a video games exhibition the day before it was open to the public :D)

The air in London is dirty though from all the cars and stuff, so I ended up with a small sinus infection just before I flew back home. On the plane home, the changing pressure in the plane cabin combined with my sinuses being all clogged with gunk caused my right eardrum to burst! Some gunk must have gotten up into my ear too, because the next day I had an inner and outer ear infection. I missed nearly a month of work as I was completely deaf in that ear and icky stuff kept dribbling out of it 🙁
