      Hey!

I don’t have my own science lab, I share a space in a few labs. I have my own two desks in the marine ecology lab, which also has the place for all of my equipment like sieves, dissection equipment and identification books. I have another desk in a lab with a high power microscope and I share space in our mass spectrometer facility.
When I was younger my parents got me a small ‘do-it-yourself’ science lab for Christmas, I still have it, but many chemicals are gone now 🙂

      Kinda 🙂

I have my own workbench (You can see a pic of it at the bottom of my profile) in a big lab where I keep all my stuff. I got a corner space so I really have two workbenches, I get jealous looks from the others sometimes 🙂 We recently got new shiny glass shelving put in for it so I can keep even more stuff!

I also share space in other labs. We have a special pathogen lab where we go if we have anything dangerous to work on (That’s everything that could cause an infection, so all my poo samples have to be processed up there!). We have to wear special coats and gloves up there, and can’t bring anything in that we want to take back out, so no phones, music players, wallets, or any of that.

On top of that, there are some very expensive machines we all have to share, as the building can only afford one!
