I’ve been to a couple of conferences, but mostly in Ireland so far. The training course I went to in Cambridge in the UK was also part conference, that was fun.

They’ve all been great experiences, but I’ve preferred the UK conference so far. It was held by a rather rich company, so they could afford to splash out on some incredible food for everyone. There was more diversity in the scientists too, where most of the conferences I went to in Ireland focus on the health of the digestive tract, the scientists I met in Cambridge were interested in everything from dairy to viruses in chickens, to cystic fibrosis and eye surgery! It was a lot of fun chatting to them about their work, it’s always fun to see just how much science is going on in the world! 🙂

      Heya,

I loved going to Western Australia, I went there this summer for a conference! We also went to a small island called Rottnest island and saw quokkas:

But also has some time to go up to up the coast to see the wild dolphins of Monkey Mia and whale sharks!

I have been to France two weeks ago, which was awesome too!
